SVH was created through the grassroots efforts of local citizens concerned about the health and well-being of their families, neighbors, and employees of the region. They wanted to be able to access quality healthcare close to home. We continue to honor that legacy and commitment by being accountable at all levels of the organization in meeting the changing healthcare needs of our local communities. The Quality Matters report is a tool you can use to review our clinical quality, patient satisfaction, and employee satisfaction. We continuously strive for improvement in services, whether that entails clinical services, meals, our facility’s cleanliness, or our staff’s professional and friendly manner. From the moment you walk through our door to the time you leave our facility, we want to ensure that you receive the best possible service for your healthcare needs. We welcome your input and your comments. Our patients’ responses often spur ideas for improvements in service delivery. Our patients’ survey responses have also made SVH a national Avatar award winner four years in a row, including our awards for Exceeding Patient Expectations.
